Parenting Plus Programme (Parenting When Separated)


Connect FRC will be running a 6 week Parents Plus Parenting when Separated Programme. Course is due to start on Tuesday 4th February from 10am-12. This is a practical and positive evidence-based course for parents who are preparing for, going through or have gone through a separation or divorce. The programme looks at solving co-parenting problems in a way that focus on the needs of the children.



NVR (Non Violent Reisistance) Course

Parenting Support Programme: This 8 week NVR (Non Violent Resistance) programme provides parents with skills to use when they experience child to parent violence in their home.Participants are guided through a set of core principles which are adaptable to many situations. This equips the parents with confidence and self-control and enables them to address these behaviours in an effective manner. Starts Thursday 27th Feb in Connect  from 10am-12:30pm.



Rainbows Programme

Rainbows is a free and voluntary service for children and young people experiencing loss following bereavement and parental separation.

The Rainbows service is an inclusive service, supporting children and young people experiencing grief and loss resulting from bereavement/parental separation/parental relationship breakdown /divorce.
Attending the programme provides children with an opportunity to meet with other children of a similar age, with similar experiences in a safe environment. The group will meet on a weekly basis for 9 weeks exploring issues and feelings going on for them.

This group is due to commence (depending on numbers) from mid February every Wednesday from 3.45-4.45.
